very interesting.....tho I would think the percentages of smokers in the US is lower now than 2009,,,,,the nar and nic in cigs are on the rise but no where near the levels of the 1970s...my mom smoked more and pall mall gold which were very high back then and lower now
here in US its widely said the last commercial, which I posted, was shown during the Tonight show starring johnny carson, which aired right before midnight...I doubt they showed any on new years day

Yes, I wrote above the levels of smoking have changed, and it depends on which source you read. Smoking in the U.S has fallen by 2%, but the figures aren't up to date. Wiki is quoting old sources too, but it says Eastern Europe and the Far East smoke more these days.
