Hi there folks, this is your friendly neighbourhood crime fighter on the prowl again, giving you the heads on the the world situation. They say smoking has been linked with cancer in studies funded to link smoking with cancer. But so many other things are connected and associated more with causing cancer.
Did you know that we has humans get Cancers all the time, every day. Hundreds, thousands, millions over a lifetime. We light them off just like every other thing we put into our bodies just as regular as a lady may choose to keep her house clear and spotless. Each body is different, and yet they all share the same core rule. "Put all the crap, out", and the body does this by constantly working away cleaning and flushing and washing away, and this ends up in what is known as the lymphatic system. Jargon aside, the body cleans itself.
Given a cancer is a cell which finds a dark corner of the body to grow, it is unfortunate that such things as diet plays such a huge part in deciding whether we can fight these things or they get lost in the system. Certainly in the system is already strung out trying to flush away caffeine, food chemical ingredients, medicines, alcohol, and cigs, as well as being under pressure or stress with work and kids, you can see it would be so much easier for the body to break down under those conditions. And it is in such conditions that quite a lot of us live.
So you can say smoking causes cancer as much as drinking Pepsi causes liver cancer, and eating burgers causes heart disease and bowel cancer. Does everything from fruit-loops to fries have to have a health warning in there? Out course if you happen to work in a paint for glue or chemical factory, or perhaps you work in a busy supermarket with zero ventilation all day long, this may also cause cancer.
There is also the counter argument, at the end of all of this, which says a smokers body is actually more attuned to filtering things out like fine particles, and is harder on the system so it does a better job of cleansing itself. Following this, a smoker is less likely to get other cancers and die before their time, simply because the body is trained to fight off attacks like Jackie Chan. A lazy non-smoker is wide open to attack, and if they also drink alcohol to weaken their immune system....
So thats the headline, smoking helps fight cancer.
Thanks. Have your say below.
